Learning outcomes
PRN2.Effectively work with Slavic information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize. PRN8. Know and understand the system of language, the general properties of literature as an art of speech, the history of the Serbian language and literature and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PRN13. Analyze and interpret works of Ukrainian and Serbian fiction and oral folklore, determine their specificity and place in the literary process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students must know the history of Ukrainian and world literature in the school curriculum, speak Serbian at the level of advanced user B2, successfully acquire knowledge of the subjects "Introduction to Literary Studies", "Introduction to Slavic Philology", "Foreign Literature", "Serbian Country Studies and folklore "," History of Serbian literature of the Middle Ages "," History of Serbian literature of the XVII-XVIII centuries
Course content
The purpose of the discipline: to provide Slavic students with systematic knowledge about the development of Serbian literature of the XIX century. to form an understanding of the main trends of the literary process in Serbia of this period, focusing on the conceptual foundations of Serbian romanticism (19th century) and realism (19th century), to trace the national specifics of the development of Serbian literature in its relationships with European cultures; to acquaint students with the creative heritage of the most prominent representatives of Serbian literature of the outlined period; to form skills of analysis of works of art of Serbian literature in the context of national and European poetics; to develop skills to lead a literary discussion. Training is conducted in the form of lectures and practical classes, taking into account the independent work of the student. The form of final control is an exam

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and practical classes, management of independent work and control over its implementation, individual consultations, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
After the lectures, practical classes are held on relevant topics, on which the assessment of the planned types of work and forms of control is carried out: oral answer (max. 5), performance of a test task (max. 10), modular control work (max. 15). During the semester written works are checked, individual consultations are held, the level of assimilation of the material submitted for independent processing is estimated. The final grade is set based on the results of the student's work during the semester and the oral answer to the exam. The minimum positive number of points to obtain "satisfactory" - 60 points.
