Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Fundamentals of Translation Theory", "Fundamentals of Linguistics". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of bidirectional translation from and into the Eastern language.
Course content
The discipline is selective and multi-semester. It familiarizes students with the theoretical foundations of the Korean language and is aimed at developing practical skills of students in the Korean language. Tasks are as follows: development of Korean language communicative competence in academic reading, listening, speaking and writing; perception and understanding of utterances, communication on topics defined by the program, understanding of the text and the ability to reproduce the material read; formation of writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of the academic level of foreign language proficiency; development of skills enabling to use the theoretical aspect of grammatical material in practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Form of training: practical sessions, self-study. Teaching methods: explaining new material, active listening, engaging in discussions, working in groups, discussing results.
Assessment methods and criteria
