Successful mastering of the disciplines "Eastern (Japanese) Language: Intermediate Level", "Translation Practice", "Lexicology of the Japanese Language", etc.; knowledge of grammatical structures, lexical material.
Course content
The course "Eastern Language: Functional Level" is a specialized discipline for students studying in the specialty "035.069 Philology (Japanese Language and Literature)"; it is taught in the 7th semester, the scope of the discipline is 2 credits, i.e., 30 academic hours of practical sessions and 30 hours of self-study, the form of final control is an examination. The course is designed to develop the student's skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful communication within further professional activities. The learning process provides for active involvement and usage of lexicon, hieroglyphs and grammatical structures. The discipline is designed for students with proficiency of 中級(後期) level and it is continuation of the course "Eastern Language: Intermediate Level" taught at the 3rd year of Bachelor's program. Self-study of students includes individual study of special literature. The academic discipline "Eastern Language: Functional Level" is one of the components of comprehensive training in the specialty "Philology" within the program "Japanese Language and Literature and Translation, English".
