Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages ​​(English, French / Spanish) orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 4. To understand the fundamental principles of the existence of man and nature in the modern scientific picture of the world, as well as the fundamental principles of society in order to realize the rights and responsibilities of a person as a member of society, awareness of the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen in Ukraine. PLO 5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PLO: 6, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18, 21, 25, 26.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of courses: all courses from the thematic blocks (Mathematics, Informatics, Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, English), as well as Social and Political Studies, Selected Sections of Labor Law and Basics of Entrepreneurship, Scientific View of the World. Ability to use phonetic and prosodic transcription; carry out corpus markup at different levels and create software systems using databases and knowledge; use a programming language to solve problems of input, output, and processing of text information; fluently read, speak, and write in English. The production base of the internship: computer linguistics laboratory of Taras Shevchenko KNU Institute of Philology, as well as at the student's independent choice.
Course content
The goal of educational social-communicative practice is for students to master social competencies (soft-skills competencies), i.e. the ability to develop joint projects and work in a team, communicate with colleagues and representatives of various social groups, fulfill assigned tasks in a timely and responsible manner, the ability to use non-standard and creative solutions, as well as apply a wide range of knowledge and skills from the socio-humanitarian block of disciplines in work and everyday communication. Also, during practice, students master the basic skills of working in a team on joint projects, leadership skills to implement tasks at the workplace and achieve success, and social communication with different social groups, in different teams. Students learn to use information and communication technologies to solve specialized problems, to bear responsibility for the decisions made, and to perform all stages of their work responsibly and on time. In the process of practice, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and communication skills in national and foreign languages, and the ability to implement presentation and self-presentation skills.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Independent work Types of work: Acquaintance with the conditions of design and development of speech information technologies at the production base of practical training. Development and coordination with managers of a joint plan-project of future applied research with the justification of optimal approaches and methods to achieve the set goal. Development and coordination with managers and colleagues of individual tasks within the framework of a joint project. Collection and analysis of information. Creating a database and knowledge; development of component speech information systems. Analysis of the database and knowledge, its components. Analysis of components of speech information systems. Error correction, refinement, and improvement of developed technologies. Testing and expert evaluation of developed components of speech information systems. Presentation of the completed work at the training base.
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' social and communicative practice are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The final score (100 points) is formed by the sum of the points obtained by the individual plan (60 points) and by the final control (40 points). A student who did not complete the program of social-communicative practice in full and received an unsatisfactory grade (less than 60 points) repeats the practice.
