Р05. Knowledge to understand the relationship between structure and properties of substances. Р13. 1. To have the program of the basic course and special courses of an organic profile. 2. Know organic chemistry at the bachelor's level in "Chemistry". 3. Orient in physico-chemical methods to determine the structure of natural compounds
Course content
Classical and modern methods of synthesis of materials based on natural compounds and mechanisms of reactions underlying them; selection and use of modern special reagents for the production of certain classes of natural substances, on the basis of which important, widely used natural organic materials can be obtained.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes presentations and tests. The evaluation is based on a 100-point scale. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student in the exam is 40 points / 24 points.
