Prerequisites and co-requisites
Theoretical training provided to the student by the general courses "Organic Chemistry", "Chemistry of Macromolecular Compounds".
Know the basic concepts of organic chemistry.
Be able to draw formulas of organic compounds.
Have basic skills in writing organic reactions.
Have basic knowledge of general chemistry.
Have an understanding of the basics of polymers chemistry.
Course content
Synthesis of vinyl and allyl monomers. The s ynthesis of monomers for polycondensation. Peculiarities of formation of supramolecular structure in oligomer sand polymers. Carbon-chain o ligomers. Oligomers of vinyl ethers. Heterochain oligomers. Oligoorganosiloxanes. Oligo(propylene glyc ols). Oligo glycols of Tetrahydrofuran.Phenol-formaldehyde resins. Novolac epoxy resins. Alkyd resins.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes homework, tests and defense.The evaluation is based on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a written exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on a written exam of 40 points / 24 points.
