Learning outcomes
Understand the relationship between the structure and properties of substances.
Apply the basic principles of quantum mechanics to describe the structure of atoms, molecules, and chemical bonds.
Carry out experimental work with the aim of testing hypotheses and researching chemical phenomena and regularities.
Perform computer calculations relevant to chemical problems using standard and specialized software, skills in analysis and display of results.
Interpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic principles of organic, inorganic and physical chemistry;
Know the basic principles of analytical chemistry;
Be able to make calculations, build graphs using appropriate software.
Have the skills to work in a chemical laboratory.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the assimilation of theoretical principles, basic laws and chemical and physico-chemical methods of pharmaceutical analysis and pharmaceutical chemistry; assimilation of regulatory documentation, implementation procedure and methods of determining the quality of medicinal substances

Assessment methods and criteria
The modular control includes 2 content modules and a complex final module of KPM (credit). Evaluation is carried out on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 100 points / 60 points.
