Learning outcomes
Р05. Knowledge to understand the relationship between structure and properties of substances. Р13. Skill to analyze and evaluate data, to synthesize new ideas concerning chemistry and its applications. Р21. Ability to monitor and analyze scientific sources of information and professional literature. Р22. Ability to discuss problems of chemistry and its applications in state and foreign languages with colleagues and target audience. Р25. Prerequisites and co-requisites
to know the basic concepts of organic chemistry at the level of a secondary school graduate, to have basic knowledge of general and inorganic chemistry, to have basic knowledge of physics
Course content
Theoretical study of tools and principles of green chemistry is expected; understanding of the life cycle of chemical products; the use of renewable resources, catalytic processes, alternative reaction media and the latest technologies in the development of "green" chemical products and processes; ideas about materials capable of biological decomposition.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes homework, tests and defense of practice work. The evaluation is based on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 80 points / 48 points. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on a credit of 20 points / 12 points.
