LO4. To make a psychological prognosis for the development of personality, groups, organizations. LO5. To develop programs of psychological interventions (training, psychotherapy, counseling, etc.), implement them in individual and group work, evaluate their quality.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basic principles of personality theories, the foundations of psychological counseling, the history of psychology, philosophical schools and approaches of the 20th century, in particular, structuralism, functionalism.
2. To be able to analyze psychological theories and determine their general theoretical and methodological provisions
3. To possess basic skills of historical and psychological analysis.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint with the main provisions of personality theories developed within the framework of cognitive psychology and used in psychotherapeutic work. To form an idea about their theoretical and methodological basis, principles, methods and techniques of psychotherapeutic assistance within these theories.
The academic discipline introduces students to the main provisions, theoretical and methodological foundations and practical aspects of the application of personality theories in cognitive psychology. The course examines the emergence and transformation of provisions about personality in cognitive psychology, their foundations in philosophical concepts, ideas borrowed from other schools of psychology. The change of views on psychotherapeutic work in the second and third waves of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy is considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system.
1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, analytical report) - 15 points / 9 points.
3. Creative works / case problems - 45 points / 27 points.
The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The maximum number of points that a student can get on the exam - 40, the minimum - 24.
The student is admitted to the exam if he / she scores 36 points during the semester.
The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60.
The maximum number of points is 100.
