Learning outcomes
LO5. To develop programs of psychological interventions (training, psychotherapy, counseling, etc.), implement them in individual and group work, evaluate their quality. LO8. To Identify the degree of tasks complexity and to decide on the application for assistance or advanced training. LO9. To solve ethical dilemmas based on rules of law, ethical principles, and common human values.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: general provisions on the practice of psychology, rights and responsibilities, typical risks. To be able to: use psychological knowledge about a person to analyze specific life situations; use psychodiagnostic methods and techniques in accordance with the specifics of the client's appeal; apply active methods of providing psychological assistance; use the latest achievements of psychological science in practice. To have basic skills: to apply the peculiarities of organizing the work of a psychologist based on the provisions of theories that describe the study of the areas of work of a psychologist.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to give students an idea of the structure and functions of the psychological service, to familiarize them with the forms and methods of work of a psychologist in various state and non-state services for providing psychological assistance to the population. The discipline provides general theoretical training of students in the field of psychology, which will serve as a basis for their further activities. The program includes theoretical problems of development and organization of psychological services. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the psychological service in various types of social activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Work at seminar: 24/14 points 2. Analytical report (in the format of an electronic presentation made independently based on the results of independent work and sent by e-mail): 24/14 points 3. Creative independent work in the format of an electronic presentation made independently based on the results of independent work and sent by e-mail): 32/20 points 4. Final control work: 20/12 points The final assessment is conducted in the form of a test. Students who have scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points, pass the test. The test is conducted in the form of completing assigned tasks, which are worth a maximum of 20 points. Students who have gained a total of less than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points during the semester are not allowed to take the test. The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 40 points.
