Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: modern theories and psychological practice of cognitive-behavioral psychology; basic cognitive and behavioral psychology; areas and possibilities of applying cognitive-behavioral methods in working with clients; core automatic thoughts and irrational beliefs that give rise to people's emotional problems.
Be able to: analyze errors of thought and irrational beliefs; plan to help clients overcome cognitive and behavioral problems; identify cognitive and behavioral disorders and provide appropriate assistance to clients.
Course content
This discipline aims to acquaint students with the history of formation and the current state of cognitive-behavioral theory and practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, creative and reproductive tasks, individual work, reports and abstracts, tests.
Assessment methods and criteria
Execution of educational practical tasks and preparation of intermediate forms of control. The minimum number of points for admission to the test is 36 points / maximum - 60. The number of points scored for the semester is announced in advance. Final score 0-59 – failed. 60-100 – passed. The grade is formed as the sum of all points earned during the semester.
