Prerequisites and co-requisites
to know: Regulatory framework for determining the status of clients of social work; modern theories of personality psychology; theoretical bases of social work with persons who make up the contingent of clients of social work; basic approaches to understanding the concepts: "age characteristics of clients," "psychosocial social work," "social assistance to families in crisis," "psychological diagnosis," "psychological characteristics"; features of providing social assistance to different categories of clients of social work; be able to: use the acquired theoretical knowledge of the psychology of clients of social work and apply them in practical work; apply the studied theories in the practice of social work with different categories of clients; develop psychological study programs for specific target groups that need help; to conduct various forms of psychological study in individual work; to make the psychological characteristic of the person.
Course content
The purpose of teaching this discipline is to prepare future social workers to organize work aimed at creating psychological readiness to overcome the difficult life situation of the recipient of social services, providing psychological support, reducing stress and stress, assessing the basic needs of social service recipients; application of diagnostic procedures in practical work with different categories of social work clients.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, individual work, learning tasks and preparation of intermediate forms of control.
Assessment methods and criteria
Execution of educational practical tasks and preparation of intermediate forms of control. The minimum number of points for admission to the test is 36 points / maximum - 60. The number of points scored for the semester is announced in advance. Final score 0-59 – failed. 60-100 – passed. The grade is formed as the sum of all points earned during the semester.
