Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the theoretical approaches to the definitions of "network", "social network", "social action", "social interaction"; the essence of the theories of "social mobility", "exchange", "social stratification"; graph theory,” weak links’ power” theory, information society theory. To be able: to conduct sociometry; to organize the research on the communication system in order to identify existing social networks; to reveal the essence of social interaction at the formal, informal, outformal level.
Course content
The aim of the discipline – to conduct a systematic analysis of the network of social institutions and institutions in the social structure of modern Ukrainian society. Achieving the goal is possible by implementing the following tasks: to analyze the theoretical approaches to understanding the essence of the concept of "social networks"; identify the level of institutionalization of social networks in the field of social work; to analyze quantitative and qualitative indicators of the network; to model and predict the development of social networks.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers, practical tasks, projects, tests. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the test is oral, according to previously sent creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points for admission to the credit is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance.
