Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical foundations of life safety: classification of hazards, sources and factors of danger, types of risk, methods for determining risk; fundamentals of dosimetry of ionizing radiation and the main provisions of the concept of radiation monitoring; general patterns of development and interaction of the system "man - society - biota - environment"; natural-scientific and economic foundations of rational nature management. To be able to identify potential hazards, that is, to recognize their type, to determine the spatial and temporal coordinates, the magnitude and probability of their manifestation, to statistically evaluate the hazardous factors for human life; plan activities to create healthy and safe living conditions in the "human-living environment" system. Be able to apply fundamental environmental knowledge to assess the ecological and economic state of the region, country.
