Learning outcomes
1. Know the laws of thermodynamics, general conditions of thermodynamic equilibrium.
2. To be able to apply previous knowledge from the courses of mathematical analysis, differential and integral equations, mathematical physics, theoretical mechanics for solving partial differential equations, finding derivatives of complex functions, writing the Hamiltonian of a system, finding extrema of functions.

Course content
The course "Thermophysics of medical-biological systems" examines modern approaches to the description of mechanisms of heat transfer in medical-biological systems and experimental methods of studying their thermophysical characteristics. The purpose of studying the discipline is to obtain deep and systematic knowledge related to modern mathematical methods of thermophysics, theoretical provisions and the basics of applying these methods in setting up and interpreting thermophysical experiments for medical and biological systems. The educational task of the course consists in mastering the basic methods of the theory of heat conduction and applying these methods in setting up and interpreting a thermophysical experiment.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The total volume is 90 hours. , including: Lectures – 30 hours. Laboratory classes - 2 p.m. Consultations - 2 hours. Independent work - 46 hours.

- semester assessment:
1. Survey during the first content module (10 points).

- final evaluation in the form of credit (20 points).
A student is not allowed to take credit if he scored less than 50 points during the semester
