Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: to operate with knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of a foreign language (English) at a minimum sufficient level of A2 and initial B1 in accordance with the European Framework of References.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
A student-centered approach to teaching the discipline is used in order to effectively develop
1) such competencies as: communicative. pragmatic, linguistic, sociocultural and strategic;
2) students' value orientations and their creative and leadership qualities.
A student scientific conference dedicated to Earth Day is held.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester grade is formed by the points obtained by the student for mastering skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking and performing independent tasks. The maximum number of students receives 100 points during the semester, which is 60% of the final grade in the discipline, 40% is the exam.
The exam consists of two parts: 1) written tasks to assess the comprehension of the professionally oriented text (20 points);
presentation and / or discussion of a professional problem (20 points).
