Learning outcomes
P01. To know, understand and be able to use in practice the basic concepts of the theory of geography, as well as worldview sciences. P02. Know and understand the main types of geographic activity, their division. P04. Analyze the geographical potential of the territory. P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences. P09. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and sociospheres (in accordance with the professional direction) on different spatial and temporal scales. P012. Analyze the natural resource and economic potential of the territory for the needs of the organization and development of geotourism and nature protection measures. P013. Use field and laboratory methods to analyze the morphology, genesis, age and dynamics of geotourism and nature conservation objects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of such disciplines as "Geology", "Biogeography", "Soil science", "Hydrology and oceanology". 2) mastering the skills of acquiring geographic information.
Course content
This discipline is an introduction to a complex multifaceted block of professional and practical training of specialists in the field of environmental protection and geotourism. The structure of the discipline involves the study of issues of formation and development of nature conservation and geotourism, familiarization with nature conservation ideas and trends in Ukraine and the world, geotourism schools of Ukraine and the world, awareness of the need to use the opportunities of nature conservation in modern society. Along with the theoretical course, the program includes practical classes in which students present reports and reports on the history of the development of nature conservation and geotourism, the current state of these scientific and practical fields, which contributes to the development of the conceptual apparatus in the professional sphere, orientation in the flow of professional information, search and selection of necessary information, etc.
