Learning outcomes
PRS 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication.
PRS 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities.
PRS 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the national, Korean and English languages.
PRS 12. To analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize language phenomena and processes that cause them.
PRS 20. To perform oral and written two-way Korean-Ukrainian translation in compliance with linguistic and stylistic norms.
PRS 24. To apply the skills and abilities necessary for the translation of Korean-language texts related to various genres, styles, discourses (economic, legal, diplomatic, artistic, media and Internet), audiovisual translation

Prerequisites and co-requisites
knowledge of basic terms and concepts of general linguistics and translation studies. Basic knowledge of the Korean language.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to provide students with systematic knowledge of the main types, forms and methods of oral translation. To teach students the practical skills of oral translation of a text from the original language to the target language and vice versa, to understand logical meaning blocks and adequately transform them into meaning blocks of the translation language.
