Learning outcomes
PRS 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication.
PRS 12. To analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize language phenomena and processes that cause them.
PRS 17. To collect, analyze, systematize and interpret the facts of language and speech and use them to solve complex problems and problems in specialized areas of professional activity and/or learning.
PRS 20. To perform oral and written two-way Korean-Ukrainian translation in compliance with linguistic and stylistic norms.
PRS 23.1. To adhere to ethical norms in translation activities.
PRS 24.1. To adhere to the principles of the translator's work as a mediator between two cultures in translation activities.
PRS 25.1. To demonstrate knowledge of the specifics of translation strategies depending on the functional style of speech.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
knowledge of basic terms and concepts of general linguistics and translation studies. Basic knowledge of the Korean language.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to provide students with systematic knowledge of the main features of audiovisual translation. To improve students' professional competences and their practical skills in translating text from the original language into the target language, to understand logical semantic blocks and adequately transform them into semantic blocks of the translation language.
