Learning outcomes
PLO2. Reproduce moral, cultural, scientific values, to increase the achievements of society in the socio-economic sphere, to promote a healthy lifestyle. PLO15. Demonstrate basic skills of creative and critical thinking in research and professional communication. PLO21. Be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify key characteristics of economic systems at different levels, as well as the behavior of their subjects. PLO23. Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To study the course students need basic knowledge of physics (understanding of concepts such as speed, force, acceleration, mass, matter, light), astronomy (star, planet, galaxy), biology and chemistry (molecule, cell, organism). To understand physical formulas it is necessary to know the basics of mathematics in high school. In addition, general knowledge of the history of human development (including the history of economics and economic thought) is desirable for understanding the evolution of scientific thought in Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and so on.
Course content
The discipline “Scientific Image of the World” should be considered as a translation of the language disciplines of the OP “Economics to Business” of the first (bachelor’s level of higher education). Її education is necessary for the formation of a professional scientific image of the world of fahіvtsіv in the order of the humanities. The course “Scientific image of the world” helps to understand the realities of the folding world and to master the modern theories, which will deepen the methods of scientific research. The discipline is composed of three change modules.
