Learning outcomes
PLO5. Apply analytical and methodical tools for understanding the logic of making economic decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises, and state authorities). PLO9. Realize the main features of the modern world and national economy, the institutional structure, and the state's social, economic, and foreign economic policy. PLO11. To be able to analyze the processes of state and market regulation of socio-economic and labor relations. PLO12. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the obtained results in a meaningful way. PLO18. Use normative and legal acts regulating professional activity. PLO26. Apply information on the latest phenomena and processes taking place in the international economy, and formulate strategies for the activities of its actors in the global environment.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the essence and the methods of entrepreneurial activity organization, the content of economic indicators, the international economic relations form. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing, and visualization of statistical and primary data, work with the regulatory framework, skills in calculating economic indicators.
Course content
The discipline studies the essence, forms, types, regulatory mechanisms, tools, practical aspects of international economic activity of Ukraine, Module 1. "Theoretical grounds and regulatory basis of international economic activity of Ukraine", topics 1-7, which considers the essence, principles, forms, and subjects of international economic activity; classification and stages of international economic operations; principles of organization and regulation of international economic activity; specification of tariff, non-tariff and currency regulation of foreign economic activity of Ukraine. Module 2. "Economic forms and practical aspects of international economic activity of Ukraine", topics 8-16, which considers the selection criteria and ways to establish relations with foreign partners; specifics and technologies of international contract activities, international settlements, financing and lending of international economic activity; assessment of the effectiveness of international economic operations.
