Learning outcomes
ІII-ІV Semesters Non-finite forms of the Verb: Participle I, Participle II, Participial Constructions. General information. Modal verbs used in the secondary function. The formation and usage of Conditional Mood, Suppositional Mood, Subjunctive I and Subjunctive II.Inversion. To write correctly lexical units of the active vocabulary. To read and ask logical questions on the content of the reading tasks, to retell the original text of a medium complexity, having 8-10% unfamiliar words. To comprehend the spoken English speech fluently, to maintain a conversation within the passed topics using lexical and grammar material. To translate from a mother tongue into English. To render the content of a text in a written form. To identify and comment on the usage of the grammar forms in a written and oral speech. To maintain a conversation.To understand the recorded speech of an interlocutor, a lecturer or a speaker within the covered topics.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points obtained by a student in the process of current control, mastering the material of content modules and complex module. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale, of which: - semester assessment 3 content modules of 10 points (written works) = 30 points (30%) current control = 30 points (30%) complex module = 40 points (40%) Current control includes: home reading - 10 points grammar - 5 points LSP- 5 points texts - 5 points conversational topics - 5 points - comprehensive assessment The complex module includes: Written assignments – 10 points International documents -10 points Ctredit/exam-20 points The credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and doesn`t provide additional measures for the evaluation of successful students. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
