Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes are presented in the work program of the discipline. The main ones are: PRS 2. To work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PRS 3. To organize the process of one's education and self-education. PRS 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PRS 7. Understand the main problems of philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PRS 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Korean language and literature, and to be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of basic terms and concepts of various areas of translation studies, possession of basic language knowledge. Ability to collect and interpret information about language phenomena; distinguish original and universal (cross-cultural) features of the research language, apply basic concepts in the analysis of linguistic phenomena and processes; plan and evaluate own work. Possession of elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; work with texts; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to consolidate and systematize theoretical knowledge acquired during training, demonstrate the ability to perform practical tasks of independent written work to solve a specific scientific problem by using literary sources, methodological and other materials.
