The ability to build adequate models of chemical phenomena, to study them to obtain new ones conclusions and deepening the understanding of nature, including the use of molecular, mathematical and computer modeling methods. Ability to adhere to ethical standards of research and professional activity in the field of chemistry (academic integrity, risks to people and the environment, etc.). The ability to formulate new hypotheses and scientific problems in the field of chemistry, to choose appropriate ones directions and appropriate methods for their solution, taking into account the available resources. Understanding the ethical standards of research and professional activity in the field of chemistry (scientific virtue)
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Master the academic disciplines "Theoretical and applied bioinformatics", "Structural and functional genomics". 2. Have basic computer information search and use skills Internet resources.
Course content
The subject of the educational discipline is methods of analysis of the primary and spatial structure of proteins, which are used to determine the features and functional role of proteins in the body. The course provides an overview of the main modern methods of molecular biology for laboratory and camera processing of biological material for the purpose of establishing family relations between organisms, construction of phylogenetic trees and molecular identification of plants, animals and fungi: DNA extraction, amplification, assembly of nucleotide sequences, multiple alignment sequences, construction of phylogenetic trees and secondary structure of RNA.
