Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "General Psychology", "Psychology of Personality" and "Psychology of Development". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation. 3. Ability to carry out psychological analysis of the inner world and human behavior.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to give students theoretical knowledge and to form basic practical skills within psychoanalytic theory, to acquaint with its basic concepts, principles and constructs; to form an idea of the evolution of this approach and its practical application in our time. The content of the course is revealed in two modules. In the first - an acquaintance with the classical, orthodox psychoanalysis of S. Freud. The preconditions for the emergence of psychodynamic psychotherapy and its impact on psychology and psychotherapy, and on Western consciousness in general are considered. Basic concepts and concepts of psychoanalysis are studied. The second module examines the views of other psychoanalysts, whose theories have shaped the face of modern psychoanalysis. The extent and essence of the influence of psychodynamic psychotherapy on other psychotherapeutic approaches is analyzed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Training is conducted in the form of lectures and seminars; the program provides independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: answers to seminars, modular written works, general final survey / test. The test is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester. The final grade consists of the sum of the semester number of points and the final test. Maximum grade: the student fully owns the study material, freely and argumentatively teaches it, deeply and comprehensively reveals the content of the task, correctly interprets the results, uses required and additional literature, demonstrates independence, reliability of data in the work Minimum grade: the student does not fully possess the material, teaches it in fragments and superficially, does not sufficiently disclose the content of the questions. Has significant errors in the work. Demonstrates independence in performing tasks.
