Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student should know:
modern theories of psychology of extreme situations;
theoretical foundations of social work with victims of disasters and emergencies;
characteristics and forms of their social and psychological assistance to victims of disasters and emergencies;
how to constituent resource support in social work with victims of disasters and emergencies.
The student should be able to:
apply the theory studied in the practice of social and psychological assistance to victims of disasters;
develop social projects to help specific target groups, in situations postkatastrof;
provide emergency social and psychological assistance in extreme situations.
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline "Theoretical foundations of social work with victims of emergencies and disasters" is to form knowledge about the basic concepts and categories of emergency psychology and the concept of social work with migrants, as well as ways to implement the knowledge.
The main objectives of the discipline "Theoretical foundations of social work with victims of emergencies and disasters" are: the formation of students' competence in the field of social work in areas of post-disasters, emergencies and migrants

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers, practical tasks, projects, test.
The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the test is oral, in accordance with the previously submitted creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points of admission to the test is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance.
