Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: modern theories of the psychology of crises and crisis states; theoretical bases of social work with persons who have suffered in extreme, dangerous or emergency situations; basic approaches to understanding the concepts: "emergency care," "emergency intervention," "crisis intervention," "crisis situations," "psychosocial emergency care," "social assistance in crisis situations"; features of providing social assistance to people in crisis;
Be able to: use the acquired theoretical knowledge of emergency care and apply them in practice; apply the studied theories in the practice of social work for emergency care; to carry out emergency or crisis intervention;
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline is to prepare future social workers to organize social work aimed at eliminating the threat, danger to health and life of the social service recipient, providing a safe place, psychological support, reducing stress and stress, providing basic needs of the social service recipient.

Lectures, seminars, written individual assignments, training of consulting skills
Assessment methods and criteria
Creative and reproductive tasks, individual work, preparation of reports and abstracts, a compilation of modular tests, the performance of examination tasks.
The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The exam form is written, following the previously sent creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points for admission to the exam is 36 points / maximum - 60. Exam: minimum 24 / maximum 40. The number of points earned during the semester is announced in advance.
