PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and Swedish, English and third Germanic language, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, Swedish, English and third Germanic language. PLO 14. Use Swedish, English and third Germanic language in oral and written form, in different genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Full-time form

Successful mastery of the discipline involves: Completion of the previous parts of the multi-semester course "Practical course of the third Germanic language" and achievement of all program learning outcomes at a minimum satisfactory level. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of phonetics, grammar, morphology and syntax of the Ukrainian language and the ability to make language parallels and associations. The ability to operate with the basic terminology and conceptual apparatus of linguistics. Mastery of basic sentence parsing skills. The ability to logically and consistently express one's own opinion and argue it.

The discipline "Third Germanic Language" involves deepening the students' already acquired knowledge and improving their ability to communicate in the Dutch language at the A2-B1 (CEFR) level. The course makes it possible to expand the knowledge of basic vocabulary and grammar, which will ensure the improvement of the skills of conducting effective communication and expressing one's opinion at the social and everyday level. An important element of the course is the continuation of the practice of reading adapted and authentic literary texts, which allows students to improve the skills of linguistic and artistic analysis of texts, and also contributes to the deepening of their lexical-grammatical and sociocultural knowledge.

Communicative method, heuristic method, educational discussion, conversation, role-playing games, performance of written exercises and creative works, analysis of texts, audio and video recordings, independent work of students.

Current assessment: answers to practical classes, independent work review, final control work (test). The final assessment is an exam. Evaluation criteria for each form of control are given in the course program.
