1. Apply acquired theoretical and practical knowledge skills for the study of territorial and political systems on different levels of spatial organization (PLO01) 2. To evaluate the results of one's own work, to demonstrate the ability to work in a team (PLO02) 3. To be able to identify, set and solve scientific and applied problems problems, carry out a critical assessment of the decisions made (PLO05) 4. Apply geoinformation technologies, create and to investigate models of political and geographical manifestations of development geosystems, determine the possibilities and limits of their application (PLO10) 5. Plan and carry out theoretical and applied studies research, draw reasonable conclusions, analyze and present research results (PLO12)

Full-time form

1. Successful mastering of the basics of political geography and geopolitics and the disciplines of professional training "Theory of political geography and geopolitics", "Geoglobalistics", "Geospatial management", "Geoconflictology", etc. 2. Skills of searching, systematizing and processing geographical information of various directions, primarily political-geographical and geopolitical content. 3. Possess the methods of social geography, country studies, political geography and international studies and modern computer technologies at the level of solving specialized tasks.

Students during their stay on industrial practice should make the most of the opportunity to consolidate theoretical knowledge and obtain skills of research and practical work. Acquiring these skills implies that industrial practice provides an opportunity to consolidate relevant knowledge directly in the institution, which is relevant to the field of future professional activity, as well as in the process of collection and processing materials from the specified issues and writing the corresponding scientific work. Production practice involves in-depth mastering of the student's knowledge of the structure and field activities, role and tasks of the relevant institution. Each student receives an individual tasks that must be completed in a timely and qualitative manner and issued in accordance with the requirements.

Self-study and an interview with a teacher and head of practice, practical activity

Production characteristics, general assessment of the head of practice from the enterprise. Performance of an individual task (preparation of a scientific article or theses). Current control, level of preparation and protection of the practice diary. During the internship, consultations and ongoing verification of the student's work are carried out. The practice report is defended by the students in the commission appointed by the head of the department, consisting of practice managers from the department. A student who did not complete the internship program for valid reasons may be granted the right to repeat the internship. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a differentiated assessment, in which students defend reports and present scientific articles (theses). Excellent 90-100 / Good 75-89 / Satisfactory 60-74 / Fail 0-59
