Learning outcomes
Р01.Know, understand and be able to use in practice the basic concepts of the theory of geomorphology, the organization of naturally cognitive tourism, as well as related sciences. P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences, in particular to solve problems of geomorphology, palaeogeography and naturally cognitive tourism. P06. Use information technologies, cartographic and geoinformation models in the study of processes of relief formation and development, organization and functioning of field of the naturally cognitive tourism. P08. Apply models, methods of physics, chemistry, geology, ecology, mathematics, information technology, etc. in the study of processes of relief formation and development, individual objects and processes of the geosphere, for the organization and functioning of naturally cognitive tourism.

Knowledge of school mathematics at the level of secondary education.
Course content
The discipline program covers such fundamental concepts of higher mathematics as sets, functions and relations on sets, matrices, determinants and actions with them, coordinate systems, vectors and operations with them, equations of lines on a plane, equations of a straight line and a plane in space, the limit and continuity of a function , derivative, differential, elements of probability theory and mathematical statistics. These basic mathematical concepts are necessary to prepare students to use the methods of linear, vector algebra, analytical geometry, mathematical analysis, mathematical statistics to understand the means, mathematical methods and models used in further training courses in conducting practical statistical research, in the application of geographic information systems and technologies, promoting the development of students' logical and analytical thinking.
