Learning outcomes

P01. To analyze the peculiarities of natural and social processes in geographical envelopes. P02. Apply your knowledge to identify and solve problematic issues and make informed decisions in geographic research. P04. Develop, manage and manage projects of geographic and interdisciplinary orientation, evaluate and ensure the quality of works. P05. Plan and carry out scientific experiments, write scientific papers by specialty. P07. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to apply them in production and research activities. P13. Identify and classify known and register new geographical objects, their properties, meaningful characteristics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

1) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geomorphology and paleogeography, normative documents in the specialized field; 2) ability to work with literary sources, statistical data, cartographic materials, data of remote sensing of the Earth's surface, Internet resources; 3) skills of field and camera landscape research, free use of GIS.

Course content

The educational discipline considers modern methods and innovative solutions for the organization and conduct of scientific research and assessment of the possibilities of their applied use.
