Successful completion of high school education, knowledge of theoretical foundations of phonetics, grammar and speech culture of the Ukrainian language and foreign language within the framework of the school curriculum.
Course content
The Spanish for Tourism course is a practical course designed to help professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry improve their Spanish communication skills. The course is ideal for professionals from all sectors of tourism and hospitality who wish to enhance their Spanish language skills, such as: hotel employees, rental platform hosts, restaurant and café professionals, travel agents and tour operators, students in the area of tourism, etc. in order to assist international visitors and promote their services to an international audience.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment in the 1st and 2nd semesters
1. Frontal / group and individual interview - 10 points / 6 points.
2. Written tasks for Self-study (4 tasks) – 10 points / 6 points for each.
3. Modular test (2 tests) – 10 points / 6 points for each.
4. Presentation (2 presentations) – 15 points / 9 points for each.
The semester grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of learning the units of the discipline and completing individual tasks. The maximum number of points that can be obtained during the semester is 100. The points received by the student during the semester make up 100% of the final grade in the discipline.
