1. Successful mastering of educational disciplines: "Basics of tourism studies", "Tourist local studies with the basics of safety in tourism", "Geography of Ukraine", "Geography of tourism", "Tourist country studies", "Foreign language", "Recreational geography with the basics of recreationology", "Fundamentals of organizing scientific research in tourism", "Organization of excursion services", "Ukrainian and foreign culture", "Geography of culture and religion", "Organization of services", "Organization of transport services in tourism". 2. Knowledge of basic tourism terminology 3. To have basic skills of searching and analyzing information from various sources.

Writing a term paper involves: collection, systematization, analysis and generalization of the obtained results regarding the organization of excursion services; mastery methods of independent scientific research, skills of working with various sources of information, independent scientific research and creative solutions tasks; formation of skills of practical use of theoretical knowledge to solve specific tasks, mastering of modern research methods; development of skills to analyze, generalize, classify and interpret the main theoretical and practical results of the research; gaining experience universal protection of research results, correct use of the evidence system in public discussion.

Self-study - 30 hours.

An oral survey and/or assessment of the ability to collect, process and analyze information is conducted during coursework writing consultations. The defense of the term paper takes place on the day determined at the meeting of the department, in front of the commission, which also includes the academic supervisor of the term paper. Students who received a score of 20 to 33 for the current evaluation of the coursework writing process receive additional questions during the defense (differentiated assessment). In the case of a student's absence for valid reasons at the defense (differentiated credit), an additional day of defense (differentiated credit) is assigned in accordance with "Regulations on the organization of the educational process at the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University", put into effect by Order No. 716-32 of August 31, 2018.
