Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful mastering of the disciplines "Tourist geography", "Safety in tourism and tourist formalities", "Geography of recreation and tourism", "Tourist cartography". 2) Be able to: establish the conditions and factors for the formation of demand for active tourism in the world; to study the structure of its organization in order to deepen the analysis of the current state and determine the direction of development forecasting; determine active tourism destinations, rank and group regions of Ukraine according to rating criteria. apply methods of field recreational and tourist research. 3) Have elementary skills: analysis of the resource potential of countries for the needs of active tourism, determine sports and tourism destinations, conduct regional analysis and evaluate the functioning of structural and territorial components of the organization of tourism and sports activities, work with cartographic materials
Course content
The discipline consists of
route and camera part. For successful practice
students must go through the routes provided by the program and complete the
to the full extent of the task of camera processing of observations.
As a result of the practice, students prepare a final report, which
contains a general description of natural-recreational and historical-cultural
potential for tourism development (based on literary sources), as well as reports
for each of the completed tasks, tourist booklets, videos
recreational and thematic subjects of practice. The final part of the report contains
conclusions regarding opportunities and problems of tourism development in the area
passing practice taking into account the principles of sustainable development and
preserving the natural and cultural uniqueness of the territory.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, field trips, homework, preparation of the final report, self-study
Assessment methods and criteria
Completion of the field part of practice, performance of practical tasks, interviews and participation in chamber work, in particular in the preparation, design and defense of the final report (differentiated credit) are evaluated. 40 points for the assessment of the 1st module, 60 points for the 2nd module. Within the first module, a maximum of 24 points (60% of the number of points per module) is for evaluating the report and 16 points for the defense. In the 2nd module, 20 points are assigned to each part, of which 12 go to the evaluation of the report, 6 to the defense. The number of points received by the student during the 1st content module and 1, 2, 3 parts of the 2nd module is the sum of the points obtained during the assessment of: oral answers and performance of practical tasks during routes; participation in the preparation and design of the report. Students are not admitted to the final examination in the absence of a report.
