Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful mastering of the disciplines "Tourist geography", "Safety in tourism and tourist formalities", "Geography of recreation and tourism", "Tourist cartography". 2) Be able to: establish the conditions and factors for the formation of demand for ecological and active types of tourism in the world; to study the structure of its organization in order to deepen the analysis of the current state and determine the direction of development forecasting; determine destinations of active and ecological tourism, rank and group regions of the world according to rating criteria. 3) Have elementary skills: analysis of the resource potential of countries for the needs of active and ecological tourism, determine sports and tourism destinations, conduct regional analysis and assess the functioning of structural and territorial components of the organization of tourism and sports activities
Course content
The educational discipline is devoted to the theory and practice of carrying out ecological, sports and health routes, practical organization and holding of these events in the selected area, taking into account recreational and cognitive value and compliance with safety requirements, legal framework, public functions; active tourism management system; economic functions of active tourism, organizational principles of tourist work. This discipline is designed to show the role of active tourism in world tourism process through the study of social functions of active tourism, use the acquired knowledge and skills in the practice of active tourism, to develop sports strategy and tactics and recreational tourist routes for hikes of different categories of difficulty, in different geographical areas (regions) and climatic zones, accordingly behave in critical ones provide first (pre-medical) medical aid in situations that may arise during a hike, to organize management activities in tourist groups of various types.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the learned material, in particular, evaluation of theoretical training - learning results, which is 30% of the total evaluation and evaluation of practical training - learning results (skills 2.1.-2.3) - 30%; (communication 3) – 20%; (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2) – 20% of the total grade. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester marks is 24 points (60% of the maximum points assigned to the exam). If a student scored less than the specified number of points on the exam, they are not added to the semester grade. Students who, during the semester, have scored less than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points, are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points.
