Successful mastering of educational disciplines: "Basics of Tourism Studies", "Tourist Regional Studies", "Geography of Recreation and Tourism", "Tourist Country Studies", "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture", "Safety in Tourism and Tourist Formalities" 2. Knowledge of basic tourism terminology 3. To have basic skills of searching and analyzing information from various sources.

Studying the academic discipline "Organization of excursion services" is aimed at formation determined by the general and professional educational and professional program competencies. It consists of two content modules, its volume is 6 credits ECTS Content of the discipline: theoretical and methodological principles of the field trip activities; conceptual and terminological apparatus; basics of excursion theory; the essence of the excursion and its functions; stages of preparation of the excursion; methodological techniques conducting an excursion; professional skills of the tour guide; control over the quality of excursions; a differentiated approach to the excursion serving different categories of consumers.

Lectures, practical work, consultations, self-study

It is carried out during the semester and during the examination session. Practical works are handed in at each practical session or at the time specified by the teacher; for works submitted after the specified deadline, the assessment is 50% of the maximum number of points. Control work is conducted in the form of blitz tests for 6-7 weeks of study during the lecture. For students who have completed less than 60% of practical work, additional control work is conducted in the 11-12th week of study. The maximum number of points that a student can get on the exam: 40 points; the minimum score for which the exam is considered passed: 24 points; - admission conditions: admission to the exam is subject to the completion of 100% of practical and independent work, in case of completion of less than 60% of practical work, the student is admitted to the exam based on the results of the additional control work at the end of the training course.
