Prerequisites and co-requisites
1).Successful mastery of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Tourism Studies", "Tourist Country Studies", "Geography of Recreation and Tourism". 2). To be able to: apply knowledge about the organization and application of modern information technologies when solving tasks in tourism activities; to navigate the creation and placement of materials on the global Internet, to use IT technologies for enterprises. 3).To have basic skills of creating tourist sites; work in reservation systems; knowledge of network software applications using WEB technologies
Course content
The academic discipline is devoted to study theoretical and methodological foundations of information technologies in tourism, their essence, structures; basic concepts and strategies in the management of tourist activities enterprises. Illuminates the issue of the current state and trends in the development of information systems; gives an idea of ​​the main corporate information systems in terms of management tourism business, informational support for management decision-making. This discipline is designed to show objectivity and the need for implementation systems automation of tourism activities in Ukraine and at the international level in conditions globalization, under the conditions of defending national interests, taking into account program complexes tourism industry management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.10), which is 50% of the total assessment and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes - 30%; The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester marks is 24 points (60% of the maximum points assigned to the exam). If a student scored less than the specified number of points on the exam, they are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points received during the semester), "0" is placed in the "exam points" column in the examination information, and only the number of points received during the semester is transferred to the "resulting grade" column. Students who scored less than 20 points during the semester are not allowed to take the exam.
