Learning outcomes
Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the subject area mastered during the master's program, use them to solve complex problems and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry. Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to solve new qualitative and quantitative problems of chemistry. Collect, evaluate, and analyze the data needed to solve complex chemistry problems using appropriate data methods and tools. Plan, organize and carry out experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw sound conclusions Interpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical fundamentals of analytical chemistry 2. Know the basics of electrochemical methods of analysis 3. Know the basics of spectroscopic methods of analysis 4. Be able to calculate equilibria in homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. 5. Know the basics of chromatography; 6. Have the basics of inorganic, physical, organic and biological chemistry."
Course content
The course highlights the features of the stages of analysis, as well as the use in the analysis of bioligands: carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, amino acids, proteins. Special attention is paid to the application in the analysis of enzymes, antibodies and DNA molecules (enzymatic immune, hybridization analysis), as well as to the development of biosensors based on them.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical work, laboratory work
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes assessment of laboratory work, modular tests, presentation of essays. The evaluation is based on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 60 points / 36 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on the exam is 40 points / 24 points.
