Learning outcomes
Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to solve new qualitative and quantitative problems of chemistry. Be able to clearly and unambiguously convey the results of their own research to professional audiences and / or non-professionals. Collect, evaluate, and analyze the data needed to solve complex chemistry problems using appropriate data methods and tools. Plan, organize and carry out experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw sound conclusions. То іnterpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, chemical and instrumental methods of quantitative analysis, methods of molecular spectroscopy and electrochemical methods of analysis Be able to perform a chemical experiment according to the protocol, perform measurements and spectrophotometers, photoelectrocolorimeters, pH-metric titration; titration with an ion-selective electrode; be able to construct equilibrium diagrams in solution. Have the skills of mathematical information processing using computer technology and Excel, Origin; methods of statistical processing of experimental results.
Course content
As a result of studying the discipline, students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for experimental determination of the composition and stability constants of complex compounds.
