Students should be based on the knowledge of geography previously acquired in secondary comprehensive school
Course content
The academic discipline is dedicated studying the basic concepts of the geography of recreation and tourism, zoning in recreational geography, creation of territorial recreational systems. When studying the discipline, special attention is paid to consideration of recreational conditions and resources, needs and recreational and tourist activities.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of writing control papers, performing practical work and speaking at seminar classes, project defense. Semester assessment: 1) Control work (tests): RN 1.1 – 1.6 (knowledge) 20 points/10 points 2) Assignment and report: RN 2.1 – 2.4 (skills) 55 points/34 points 3) Project defense: RN 3; 4 (communication, autonomy and responsibility) 25 points / 16 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam - defense (of a project) on one of the tourist regions of Ukraine and the world. Assessment is carried out throughout the semester in classes. The student submits the electronic version of the task (to the electronic inbox and the report at the seminar classes or at the deadline specified by the teacher. For tasks and reports submitted later than the specified deadline (without a good reason), the assessment is no more than 75% of the maximum number of points.
