Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic tenets of sexology as a science of the sexual life of the individual in its various forms. 2. Be able to use the acquired knowledge about the sexual sphere of man, combined with knowledge of social rehabilitation, social work, psychology and features of rehabilitation approaches for practical work at the level of a student with a bachelor's degree. 3. Have the skills of a clinical psychologist while working with a person who has problems in sexual life.
Course content
The program of the course «Basic of sexology» is a holistic representation of the modern vision of the subject, tasks, structure and basic problems of sexual life. Based on extensive scientific information, along with general information on anatomical and physiological aspects, the educational material considers socio-cultural, historical, ethnographic and psychological patterns of sexual behavior, peculiarities of men and women. Nowadays, neither sexopathology, nor sexual education of a person, nor the services of family formation can successfully develop if they are not based on basic scientific knowledge about gender and sexuality. These issues are essentially interdisciplinary and have three main areas: bio-medical, socio-cultural and psychological-pedagogical.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Test based on the study of the 1st topic: PH1.1-10 / 6 points 2. Summary: РН1.2 - 10/6 points 3. Test test on the 2nd topic: PH1.2 - 10/6 points 4. Test based on the results of studying the 3rd topic: PH1.3 - 10/6 points 5. Report on practical work: РН2.1, РН2.2, РН2.3 - 20/12 points Final evaluation in the form of a test. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Conditions of admission to the test. A student is not admitted to the test if he / she scored less than 36 points during the semester. The student is admitted to the test provided that 50% of the planned practical work is completed. Organization of assessment: after topic 1 is a modular test 1; after topic 3 students prepare presentations; after topic 5 modular test work 2 is carried out and a case is prepared. Grading scheme: Excellent 90-100 points. Good 75-89 points. Satisfactory 60-74 points. Fail 0-59 points.
