Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO3. To search information from different sources for solving professional tasks including using information and communication technologies. LO9. To propose own solutions of psychological problems in a professional context, to argue own point of view. LO10. To formulate logically own position in comprehensive way, discuss, defend, modify statements according to cultural characteristics of the partner. LO17. To demonstrate socially responsible and conscious behavior, follow humanistic and democratic values in professional and social activities. LO18. To care about own and others' mental health and, if necessary, call about supervisory.

Course content
Modern theories of conflict, rules of systematic analysis of conflicts are analyzed; the main psychological approaches that explain the course of the conflict at different stages of its development, the phenomenology of conflicts, the structure of the psychologist-conflictologist are revealed; the ways and methods of correction of the person's attitude to the conflict and behavior in it, methods of psychological help in a situation of long and destructive conflicts are substantiated; styles and tactics of personality behavior in different conflict situations, direct and indirect ways of resolving conflicts, technologies of their settlement are covered; reveals the role of the psychologist in resolving conflicts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in the discussion, additions)- 30/18 points. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The test is based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100) and does not provide additional assessment activities for successful students. Students who scored less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 40 points, are credited. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and the performance of a creative individual task, which is estimated at 20 points. Students who scored a lower total number of points during the semester than the critical-calculated minimum - 40 points are not allowed to take the test.
