Learning outcomes
The task of studying the discipline is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to apply the methods of financial mathematics in the practice of international business, including financial and banking operations, foreign exchange and capital market operations at both national and international levels

knowledge of theoretical foundations of statistics and international statistics, probability theory and econometrics; basic principles of functioning of the financial system of the countries, Ukraine and the world financial system as a whole; banking business; principles of lending, financing, investing

Course content
The essence of simple interest rates and examples of their use in international financial and banking practice
International practice of debt repayment in installments and Lombard credit in international financial and economic activities
Debt repayment schemes under leasing contracts
World practice of consumer lending and features of Ukraine. Discounting bills
Mathematics of conversion operations and accrual of interest. Practice for international business
Currency arbitrage: essence, specifics, mechanism.
Positive interest rate arbitrage. Wholesale dealing. Currency auction
World practice of accrual and discounting at compound interest rates
Estimation of cash flows
Estimation of business value of an international corporation

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Assessment of students' knowledge is carried out by current control, and the final result of the student's work during the semester is evaluated on a 100-point scale.
Current control: answers and presentations, written analytical individual and group tasks, case studies , final modular test .
