The discipline "Conflictology" provides knowledge and skills of practical application of methodologies of conflict analysis in information and analytical work of the specialist - provides knowledge of analytical approaches to the study of modern conflicts, methods and techniques of processing information data on conflict, preparation of analytical materials

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Tasks of the discipline: • Introduction to the subject of conflict in international business; • Familiarization with the essence of the conflict at the interpersonal level, at the social level, in international relations; • Formation of the ability to effectively use conflictological knowledge in the analysis of modern social processes; • Developing an understanding of the principles of effective application of conflict methods in the analysis of social and economic processes; • Familiarization with the effects of the media and communication on the audience in terms of impact on the escalation / de-escalation of conflict processes in society.
Course content
Introduction. Conflictology as scientific knowledge. History and development Formation of conflictology: sociological, political science and psychological theories Basic concepts of social conflict. Modern features of social conflicts The essence of political conflict. Political conflicts in the context of national development Ethno-national conflicts - trends and threats to the modern world International conflicts of the XX-XXI centuries Conflict analysis - rules of monitoring, compiling a cognitive map. - descriptive and graphic models Application of mathematical models in conflict analysis Technologies of communicative influence in conflict resolution. Negotiations as a mechanism for resolving conflicts Information component of modern international conflicts. Hybridity of modern conflicts The impact of media and communication on the audience. Conflict-generating information impact
