Learning outcomes
1. Determine the main ones forms and types of organization rational nature management, understand their features, particularly in context cross-border ecological cooperation (PRN 3). 2. Develop principles accommodation of various types nature protection activity (PRN 7). 3. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and natural and anthropogenic geographical objects and systems (according to specializations) on different spatio-temporal levels (PRN 10). 4. Be professional tolerance to detection alternative principles (PRN 15). 5. Evaluate adequately their knowledge and apply them in different professional situations (PRN 18). 6. Demonstrate performance of professional tasks in standard and uncertain situations (PRN 22).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Meteorology", "Soil Science", "Geology", "Hydrology and Oceanology", "Geomorphology", "Cartography", "Fundamentals of geoecology", "Physical geography of continents and oceans", "Landscape studies". 2. To be able to establish the nature of relationships between the causes of occurrence, consequences and ways of solving agro-ecological problems. 3. To be able to analyze the negative consequences of unregulated human activity with positions of the ecological approach to solving agricultural problems. 4. Know the basic theoretical principles of general ecology, the history of its development of this science, its structure and regularities of natural functioning environment 5. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of agroecological research, methodology studies of agroecosystems, the basics of ecological forecasting and modeling, environmental monitoring organizations, etc.
Course content
This academic discipline dedicated to the study of the peculiarities of the functioning of agroecosystems, their dynamics and evolution, the influence of various environmental and economic factors on them human activity, the essence of the concepts "agrobiosphere" and "agroecosystem", as well as formation of skills and abilities to solve the main environmental problems in the plane of the subject area of ​​agroecology, principles and modern methods that are used to solve them. The discipline "Agroecology" is aimed at deepening of theoretical geoecological knowledge, formation of students accumulation of special professional, social and personal competencies knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, ability ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of agricultural production. Separate components of the discipline are the study of methods and methods increasing sustainability and ensuring sustainable development of agroecosystems; ways management of environmental protection processes in agroecosystems; principles rational use and protection of components of agroecosystems from exposure unfavorable anthropogenic and technogenic factors; research methods consequences of adverse changes in agroecosystems. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, such as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and information technologies in the field of agricultural activity, ability to apply quantitative and qualitative methods of agroecosystem research, ability to independently research, analyze spatio-temporal changes of agroecosystems for purposes rational nature management.
