Course content
This academic discipline is dedicated to the study of general geoecological problems on the European continent, in particular, the reasons for their occurrence, regional features of their distribution, principles and modern methods used to solve them, as well as formation of abilities and skills to solve the main geoecological problems in plane of the subject area of knowledge of natural geography. Discipline is directed on the formation of special professional, social and personal skills in students competencies, accumulation of knowledge regarding the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, the ability to identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural sciences 4 geography and geoecology. Separate components of the discipline are study geoecological problems in separate geocomponents (atmospheric, water, etc. environments) on the territory of Europe; anthropogenic factors that play a role the biggest role in their emergence; principles of rational use and protection components of the landscape from the influence of adverse environmental factors; methods of geosystem research; methods of rationality use of natural resources for sustainable development. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and information technologies in the system of landscape planning activities, the ability to apply simple quantitative and qualitative methods in the study of geosystems, the ability to independently research, analyze spatio-temporal changes in the parameters of geocomponents for landscape planning purposes.
