Learning outcomes
P01. Know, understand and be able to use in practice basic concepts from physical theory geography, landscape ecology, and also philosophical sciences. P03. Explain the specifics of the organization geographical space depending on it physical and geographical features, fig landscape structure. P04. Analyze geographic potential territory, taking into account its landscape structures P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences for needs of cross-border, national, regional and local complex environmental projects P07. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape envelope and its components. P09. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and sociospheres included in the sphere of interests cross-border, regional and local projects in different space-time scale to ensure successful ecological cooperation. P010.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of such educational disciplines as "Fundamentals of General Geology", "Soil science with the basics of soil geography", "Geomorphology", "Fundamentals landscape studies", "Educational practice on the basics of field natural and geographical research". 2) mastery of field geographical research methods; 3) skills in working with cartographic materials.
Course content
The discipline consists of two substantive modules. The first of them, depending on specialty and specialization is dedicated to getting to know landscape complexes, geomorphological structure and modern exogenous processes inherent in plain territories, as well as the socio-geographical complex of a large city (on example of the city of Kyiv). The basis for conducting this part of practice is geographical Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. The second module discipline consists of three parts, which are respectively dedicated to: acquaintance with peculiarities of farming in mountainous areas; study of landscapes; the study of relief forms and modern exogenous processes that are typical for them (at example of the Ukrainian Carpathians). The basis for conducting this part of the practice is educational scientific base "Yasin" of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in the village of Black Tisza of the Rakhiv district of the Zakarpattia region.
