            Learning outcomes
        
        
            To know the history of development of legal regulation of the conclusion, operation and termination of treaties, the content of the codification and progressive development of the law of treaties processes, the principles, concepts and main categories of the law of treaties. To know the place of the law of treaties in the international law system, the relationship and interaction between international law and national procedures on the entry into force of a treaty. To know the content and characteristics of application of the 1969 Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties and the Law of Ukraine «On Treaties of Ukraine». To know the procedure for concluding treaties, the operation and interpretation of treaties, the foundation and procedure for the suspension and termination of a treaty.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. Knowledge of the Fundamental Theory of Public International Law, Comparative Constitutional Law. 
2. Ability to analyse and establish the content of the rights and obligations of subjects of international law, to apply the rules and principles of international law and the decisions of international courts to meet specific objectives, analyse and establish the content of Ukrainian and foreign legislation.
3. Have the basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of legal material while providing one’s own conclusions and proposals.

            Thematic plan of the discipline:
1. The concept and codification of the law of treaties, parties and form of a treaty. 
2. Conclusion, operation and validity of treaties. 
3. Observance, interpretation of treaties and modification, amendment, termination and suspension of their validity. 4. Treaties in the national legal system of Ukraine

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 20 points), written assignment (up to 20 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The form of final control is a final test. The final test is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the final test is up to 40 points.
