1. To know, understand and be able to use in practice basic concepts of physical theory geography, landscape ecology, as well as outlook Science (P01) 2. Determine the main ones characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape shell and its components. (P07) 3. Analyze the composition and structure natural and sociospheres that are included in the sphere of interests cross-border, regional and local projects on different spatio-temporal scales to ensure successful environmental cooperation. (P09) 4. Know the goals of sustainable development and their capabilities professional sphere for them achievements, including in Ukraine during implementation programs and projects cross-border environmental cooperation. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Geology", "Hydrology and oceanology", "Soil science". 2. To be able to establish the nature of relationships between the causes of occurrence, consequences and ways of solving geoecological problems. 3. To be able to analyze the negative consequences of unregulated economy human activity from the standpoint of the geoecological approach to environmental protection problems 4. To know the main theoretical provisions of modern geoecology, the history of its formation of this science, its structure and regularities of natural functioning environment 5. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geoecological research, methodology studies of natural and transformed landscapes, determination of standards purity of the components of the natural environment, geoecological organization monitoring etc.
Course content
This academic discipline dedicated to the study of general features of the functioning of geoecosystems, which are influenced by economic and other human activities, their causes emergence, principles and modern methods used in geoecology research, as well as the formation of skills and abilities to solve current ones of geoecological problems in the plane of the subject area of ​​knowledge of natural science geography The discipline "Fundamentals of Geoecology" is aimed at deepening theoretical geoecological knowledge, formation of special students professional, social and personal competences, accumulation of knowledge about opportunities for critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search and process 4 and analyze information from various sources, ability to determine, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural geography and geoecology. Separate components of the discipline are the study of principles and methods increasing stability and ensuring sustainable development of geoecosystems; ways management of environmental protection processes in geoecosystems; principles rational use and protection of components of geoecosystems from exposure unfavorable anthropogenic and technogenic factors; methods of conducting study of the consequences of adverse effects on geoecosystems. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, such as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and information technologies in project planning activities, ability apply quantitative and qualitative methods of geoecosystem research, ability independently research, analyze spatio-temporal changes of geoecosystems for goals of rational nature management and nature protection.
