Course content
Biogeography is a component of the cycle
professional training of specialists in the field of geography, ecology, territorial
management, management of natural resources, cartography. Basic knowledge
of its provisions is necessary to solve a wide range of environmental problems
education, nature protection, environmental monitoring, medical geography,
human ecology, recreational geography and others.
The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the history of the formation and content of the
oretic and methodological principles of biogeographic research. Provides knowledge about: is-
thorium of the formation and development of the Earth's organic world; the main regularities
those of the distribution of living organisms, biocenoses, habitats, biogeocenoses on the planet and
in the regions. Provides: understanding of environmental prerequisites and factors of distribution
of "living matter" business; the possibility of learning the basics of chorology, law
patterns of distribution, configuration and dynamics of habitats of organisms and bio-
cenosis Get acquainted with: theoretical and methodological principles of biogeography
analysis of territories; principles and tasks of biogeographical classifications,
zoning and zoning; regional floras, faunas, biomes. Provides
the possibility of acquiring knowledge about the composition, structure and peculiarities of organic matter
world of Ukraine. Get acquainted with the features of anthropogenic changes and transformation
ren of the organic world. Outline ways and mechanisms of biodiversity conservation
